This particular model is equipped with an Agfa Solinar 50mm f/2.8 lens. The Karat 36 was the first in the Karat series to use 135 film rolls and could take up to 36 exposures. It features a Synchro-Compur shutter, which is speed synchronized and includes a flash socket for connecting a flash cable, along with a synchronizing lever.
