ExaktaVX Ihagee Dresden Camera w/Meyer Gorlitz 58mm Lens+Extras 1953-55 Germany
Exakta VX camera manufactured 1953 - 1955 per serial number In good condition. Opens smoothly, shutter functions smoothly, the black is starting to let go a tiny bit on the corners and it is dusty due to age, nothing abnormal with the body. Meyer Gorlitz Primoplan 1:9 - 58 mm manufactured in 1950 per serial number. Good condition, a little dusty but consistent with age and no scratches. Two Ihagee Dresden waist level viewfinders, one of these doesn't fit this camera because of the leg protruding on one side, I suppose you could break it off. Both function normally. Sekonic light meter model number 86. I don't know how to test it. Multiscope model number 8142, bellows is in great condition. Minicam Speedlight 100 for Exakta camera. It contains two 35mm cans of powder, two power cords (I don't know if they both fit but were in the box) Reflector, brush, attachment arm, bulb, battery is probably dead, original box and manual. Soligor reverser ring for Exakta camera. Minicam series VI lens hood. A lens hood that was in the box along with the S shaped bracket (I don't know if either one belong to this camera). Three rolls of old film , leather case that needs thread repair. A stainless steel camera strap and all manuals. If you want more photos just ask, but if I'm out of town you will have to wait until I return. I try to describe as honesty as possible. I know more than the average Joe but I don't know a great deal about cameras, but for it's age I think it's in very good condition. It came from a camera collector's collection who took very good care of his toys. This would make a great display or use for photographic purposes.
